You’re delighted to finally have an opportunity to say something about it.

— This year’s European Capital of Culture —
To be an artist-in-residence between April 18 and May 10 this year and join another seven young artists in painting a wall in a magnificent location.
In addition, you don’t mind having your likeness and work used in other segments of the official Novi Sad:
Capital of Culture program.

Along with your resume and portfolio, please send a sketch of what you think The Future of Europe will look like and a list of materials you’ll need to bring your creation to life.
Send us your resume, portfolio, sketch, and materials list, and we’ll be waiting for you with accommodation, a surprise masterclass, a fee, and a wall ready for creating legacy in Novi Sad.

Location: Novi Sad, Serbia
Location of mural: URBAN AREA
Dimensions of the wall: approximately 100m2
Length of residency: 3 weeks
Date of arrival in Novi Sad: 18th April
Date of departure: 10th May
Local coordinator will be in charge of hosting the participants
Who is going to paint with me: Street artists from Serbia, the Western Balkans, and the European Union.
What’s provided: Accommodation, travel, fee, your required equipment, masterclass, photo sessions, time-lapse video of the process of creating the artwork, promotion of your art on social media and through PR, catalogue.

Date of announcing the list of chosen Artists in residence: 25th March, 2022
Eligibility / Criteria for selection of 8 artists:
Artists from the Western Balkans, European Union countries and other European countries
In the age between 18-35 years;
With qualifications relevant to this initiative;
Artist who are engaged and / or interested in local and global socio-economic issues
Able to stay in Novi Sad during the residency program from 18th April to 10th May, 2022
Who are prepared to engage and participate in the activities of the official programme of Novi Sad as the European Capital of Culture for 2022 and other related cultural events in Novi Sad during their stay;
Who are prepared to promote the cultural capital of Novi Sad through their social networks and experience.
